Green & Energy
Quickwork has reached an all-time low in carbon emissions, reporting just 0.015 MTCO₂e in Q1 2024, which translates to 0.06 MTCO₂e annually—a figure significantly lower than the annual emissions of a fossil fuel-powered car. This consistent quarterly decline, as captured via AWS’s carbon footprint tool which is our most widely used hyperscaler, reflects our commitment to sustainability at scale. Leveraging Kepler and Scaphandre for deep, process-level energy telemetry, Quickwork monitors energy consumption across hosts and individual workflows, enabling us to attribute emissions precisely and offer optimization insights to customers. These improvements are driven by our adoption of a serverless ecosystem, support for efficient, event-driven architectures, and autoscaling workloads that reduce idle compute. Collectively, these measures not only minimize energy usage and cost but also make cloud-native automation more environmentally responsible.
